About

El Hudson is a junior at Wellesley College pursing a degree in classics and English literature. She works on Anglophone weird fiction, Latin epic poetry, Greek tragedy, and ancient historiography. Her non-academic interests include RPG game design, creative nonfiction, digital art, and choral performance. She was the 2019 recipient of the Edith Tufts Award and the Anna Marguerite McCann Award from the Wellesley College Department of Classical Studies, and the 2021 recipient of the Wellesley English Department Prize for Excellence in Translation.

When El isn’t studying towards her degree, performing, gaming, or writing, she works as a professional Latin and English tutor and a library assistant at Clapp Library. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
